Mastering FAQ
Stereo mastering is where a single stereo track (the mixed version of your song) is polished to ensure it sounds its best on all playback systems. This process includes adjusting levels, EQ, compression, and other enhancements to achieve a balanced, cohesive sound.
Stem mastering involves working with separate grouped tracks (e.g. drums, bass, instruments, etc.), rather than a single stereo track. This gives me more control over individual elements, allowing for more precise adjustments and a more refined final result.
All indie 'Raimu' music has been mastered by me!

You can attend the sessions online for an additional price ('Track Feedback' is not accessible).
I will share my screen, high quality audio streamed live and webcam (if you wish). This works great as you get to hear the audio in real time in your own environment (room or headphones) while watching the process & hearing a detailed explanation of what’s going on.
The preferred way to receive your songs is through .WAV or .AIFF files in 32 bit without dither or 24 bit with dither and without any limiting or clipping on the master channel.
You should export in whatever sample rate you worked on your project in (44.1kHz, 48kHz or 96kHz); don’t convert sample rate on export!
Anything you have placed on your master channel for creative reasons (filters, saturation, analog emulations) is welcome to stay if you like the sound of it and it’s defining some specific sonic characteristics. If you have applied processing on your master channel, and aren’t sure if you should remove it or not, you can send me both versions and letting me decide which would be best to work on.
In maximum 10 minutes time from your purchase you'll receive an email with a link where you can upload your files.
